Ivy’s work is inspired by the observation of the

human condition and the evolution of people over time. The history of the “self” and what it is to be human are the guiding inquiries underpinning her work and perspective on health.

Her approach offers a method of stilling the mind to allow connection with the body.

The biological and physiological functioning that follows gives greater opportunity for body awareness and support of one’s being as a living interactive whole. The perspective of living well alternatively shifts from a state of “needing to fix” to a state of “being”, where wellbeing itself becomes an ongoing journey of understanding the body and the human self as it moves through all stages of life, from birth to death.

“The body is called the field; the one who watches whatever happens within it - the wise call the Knower.”

- Bhagavad Gita -

The Joshua Tree California USA

“Nature always wears the colors of the spirit” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Goong Goong’s journals - My work is inspired by my family’s story.

Ivy offers a form of Chinese Medicine embedding traditional knowledge into everyday living. Daily lifestyle practices and awareness of the body are encouraged as an active and ongoing part of the health journey. Through consultation, acupuncture, acupressure and other body techniques, the therapy is directed towards slowing down the mind-body process, and identifying physical and mental patterns that prevent well-being, leading to disease. These techniques are applied as a method to assist the body to cope with any physical or emotional discomfort present, while simultaneously settling the mind allowing for increased coherence in the signalling process and regeneration of the body
